The holidays are approaching!

You know what has been fun? Hearing all of your holiday traditions. I love asking my readers what they make for Christmas Eve dinner, what cookies they love to bake and what fun appetizers they arrange for family gatherings.

I've found that SO many of you do at least one appetizer night between Christmas Eve and New Years Day. And I love that! It's an easy way to feed the masses, especially when there is a lot going on between opening gifts, catching up with relatives and watching the big game and holiday movies on TV.

Well, today I have a great warm and cozy appetizer for you! The Iowa Beef Council and I brainstormed these fun and tasty Baked Lasagna Cups.

We wanted to showcase how versatile ground beef is {you are always asking for new ground beef recipes!} in a fun appetizer that is still filling and can even be made into a meal. We all know that making a traditional lasagna can take a bit of work - so let's make these fun bites instead!

Just a few simple ingredients and a few minutes in the oven and these Baked Lasagna Cups will be the hit of your party.

Making these Baked Lasagna Cups is as simple as the graphic above! You'll need a regular 12-cup muffin tin {or a 24-cup one, which can get all of them done in one big batch}. Plus, of course, all of your traditional lasagna ingredients.

Store bought biscuit dough acts as the "cup" to hold all the lasagna goods. Then it's as simple as layering them up!

A yummy ricotta mixture {ricotta, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, parsley}, cooked ground beef, marinara, shredded mozzarella cheese and additional Parmesan. Then bake and eat!

The Iowa Beef Council has a TON of beef appetizer recipes worth sharing. You can see the complete fun and easy list RIGHT HERE.

Honestly, I can't wait to try out the Cheesy Bourbon Hot Brown Skillet Dip. Be sure to browse them all if you have an appetizer right coming up.

But first, of course make my new recipe!

These little cups are so delicious! With a crispy edge bread dough that is stuffed with yummy Italian fixings and a salty, cheesy topping - I'd be surprised if you can only eat one.

These fun bites can be made ahead {with a simple reheat in the oven before serving} or you can make them fresh for you family! They make your house smell delicious and I have no doubt people will be sneaking into the kitchen to see what you are making.

Plus, they freeze well too!

If you love these {which I think you will}, give them an honest review below via the star rating on the below recipe card. I'd love to hear your thoughts!
