Crock Pot Mac-n-Cheese

Here is the creamiest, cheesiest mac-n-cheese you’ll find!

My Crock Pot Mac-n-Cheese will feed a crowd, and it is great for the holidays.

Everyone needs a quality, homemade mac-n-cheese recipe.


This one is extra special because it comes together in the crock pot – allowing you to time to tackle other things – a load of laundry, a school pick up, maybe even watch a movie?


So much cheesy greatness goes into this dish and the crock pot brings it all together!

With the holidays right around the corner, AE Dairy and I wanted to showcase their Heavy Whipping Cream. It’s a fun ingredient in many holiday dishes, because as we know many holiday dishes are decadent!


I wanted to do something savory and after suggesting this mac-n-cheese they were on board. Thanksgiving and Christmas bring a lot of family dinners and gatherings where food is the star of the show.


And let’s face it, if you are making mac-n-cheese you need a liquid (often milk) to bring it all together, so why not heavy whipping cream? Its richness is superior.

AE’s heavy whipping cream has a fresh, pure taste with a smoother consistency than other creams. They call it “heavy” because it has a higher butterfat compared to most others. This mac-n-cheese is AMAZING.


And let me be honest, it’s not just a milk and cheese dish. There is so much more. So much, you may think, “is this too much”?

This mac-n-cheese travels well (ahem, crock pot) and can even be cooked at your destination if not eating right away (it takes around two hours). What is there not to like about it?


I made it again last week and even kept it on warm in the crock pot for another three hours stirring here and there and it was just fine.


It’s a great side dish for busy families. We ate this on a night when we needed to attend our daughter’s home basketball game. When we got home it was perfect!
