Pumpkin Spice Baked Donuts

These easy baked donuts are Fall inspired and full of pumpkin spice!
Start to finish done in under 30 minutes.

I first introduced these donuts back in 2012. Well over 10 years ago, can you believe that? Can you believe this food blog has been going for so long?

Well, it has!

It never ceases to amaze me that you guys still keep coming back for my recipes. Thank you! And today, now that Fall has arrived it's donut time. This pumpkin spice version coated in cinnamon and sugar is so, so good.

A donut pan next to a bowl of donut ingredients and a can of pumpkin.

You will need a donut pan for this recipe (although readers have told me they've made these as "mini muffins" and it works).

Here is the pan I use - but there are a TON of them out there. This recipe makes 1 dozen donuts, so a 6 count or 12 count donut pan work great.

Start to finish these donuts are hot and fresh in under 30 minutes. This recipe could not be easier.

The dry ingredients are mixed with pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, eggs, milk and OF COURSE canned pumpkin. You spoon the batter into the greased donut pan and bake for just 10 minutes.

Then almost immediately (give them a minute to cool a bit) you dredge the hot donuts into the cinnamon and sugar and place on a cooling rack to wait to be devoured.

I highly recommend eating these donuts warm and fresh. They are simple the BEST that way. Warm, buttery, coated in sugar.....very hard to resist.

And yes they make a dozen, so delivering a few of the extras to a neighbor or friend is always a good idea! They'll love you.

Are you ready to make these?

Great for Fall parties, lazy weekend breakfasts, special brunches or a special birthday. If you make them tag me (@sweetsavoryeats) and I'll be sure to share your photos.
