M&M Pudding Cookies

A long time family staple...M&M Pudding Cookies!
Slightly crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle. Studded with mini M&M's.

My kids have loved this cookie since I first unveiled it back in 2012!  And heck, back then I only had two kids....considering they are 16, 14 and 11 now, you know this is an old recipe.

But let me tell you these are still incredible.

With over 1500 recipes on my website there comes a time when old ones need a little revamping and it was definitely time that these cookies got some attention.

You're welcome.

Aren't they cute?

I almost froze half of this batch after scooping them out just because for that fact that it is nice to have cookie dough on hand for a quick treat. But, the smarter part of me also knew that half batches no longer work in this family!

Teenagers eat a LOT.

When people eat these they often ask, "what is in these"? They have a distinct vanilla flavor in the background. That my friends is a dry package of instant vanilla pudding!

I'm not sure who started putting packets of dry pudding mix into cookie doughs, but thank you. It adds a fun depth of flavor.

And those mini M&M's? Gotta have those. I prefer the mini as they stick in the dough better and you get more chocolate pieces throughout. Plus, they are cute!

I used a 2 tablespoon cookie scoop and that yielded me 36 cookies. Enough to feed your family and more!

These are perfect to bake up for travel weekends (youth sports anyone?) or also great to have on hand when your kids have friends over.

And if you have better sense than me...freeze half the dough already scooped out and they make for a quick mid-week treat as well.
