We are in prime casserole dish season, which also makes it cozy season!
Here are 12 easy dishes to cure those casserole blues.

Photos of casserole dishes, 12 Cozy Casseroles

It's my favorite time of year - time for chilly mornings with a hot cup of coffee, nights snuggled under a warm blanket watching a movie or game and days of wearing hooded sweatshirts while throwing together a delicious casserole for dinner.

I've always loved a good casserole!

Everything you need to fulfill a meal it's in there - carbs, veggies, protein. All there!

I've gathered 12 of my family's favorites, ones that you readers have also enjoyed over the years. Some with chicken, some with beef, some with pasta, many with vegetables and some that are even fairly healthy!

Here we go.

Browse this list and pick one that looks tasty for dinner soon.

Baked White Spaghetti - I like this one because it is not your typical red sauce baked spaghetti, instead it has a creamy white sauce. Add in chicken and sauteed mushrooms and it's a delightful dish.

Oven Baked Hawaiian Chicken - this one was always a favorite when my kids were little, I think it's the sweet pineapple and ham that makes it fun. Easy to assemble and bake on busy nights!

Taco Pie - go ahead and change up your taco night routine and make this savory pie! Layered with dough, taco meat and cheese it gets baked until bubbly and topped with lettuce and chopped tomatoes.

Baked Florentine Spaghetti - again, spaghetti doesn't have to be boring! This one is full of fresh spinach, tomatoes, ground sausage and multiple cheeses.

Cheesy Alfredo Chicken Rice Casserole - my family loves any dish with rice in it, plus this one has alfredo sauce! Another crowd favorite. Add in any veggie you like, but we prefer broccoli.

Sausage Tortellini Bake - would you believe if I said there are only six ingredients in this one, but together they are just perfect? It's cheesy and saucy and goes great with a side salad and garlic bread.

A plate of party chicken bubble bake on a white dinner plate.

Party Chicken Bubble Bake - another six ingredient dish! This one has tender biscuits, chicken, a tangy sour cream dip in the mix, plus cheese. Everything baked together is FUN.

Ham & Swiss Baked Penne - if you love any ham and Swiss combo, this one is for you. A simple roux makes a creamy sauce that gets baked with penne noodles, cheeses and ham, then topped with a crunchy topping.

Chicken Tetrazzini - crispy bacon, sweet peas, tender chicken, mushrooms, it's all in this one. Everything is baked up and served warm.

Cheesy Mexican Dorito Chicken - if you love a good taco salad, you'll enjoy this one, as it's essentially the same thing but in baked form. Top with with shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream and guacamole.

Buffalo Tater Tot Casserole - this one is definitely not like a traditional tater tot casserole, but the tater tots are still there! All buffalo chicken fans will love the filling underneath.

Million Dollar Casserole - this was the #1 recipe on my website for YEARS. And for good reason! I always like making this one for a friend in need or a new baby mama.
